Accounting and Human Resources Coordinator
Fast-growing real estate company is seeking a full time Accounting and Human Resources coordinator to assist with bookkeeping,P&L preparation, payroll, hiring, and ensuring success of corporate employees. The coordinator will reportsignificant issues to senior management, and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the company.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work directly with President and COO on reporting and documentation both to set and track Key Performance Indicators that support our company's growth
- Post A/P, Receipts and Commission payments into accounting software
- Reconcile Bank statements
- Process Semi-monthly payroll
- Complete month end close to multiple journal entries and P/L preparation
- Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, as well as manuals for all corporate positions at the company
- Edit, maintain and oversee score cards for all corporate employees
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Recruit, screen and hire corporate employees as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in a fast paced, small to medium sized company
- Either a degree in accounting OR comparable work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Experience with Quickbooks required
- Experience with ADP a plus
- Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables and V Lookup Tables
